‘Tis the season for feeling festive and sharing the love with people who matter in our lives be at home, work or with friends. Christmas is a time when we naturally give more and in return we feel good with ourselves. Most of us are very fortunate to have what we have in our lives. But some people may not be so fortunate and it may not be so obviously transparent. I would like to challenge you over the coming weeks to complete a random act of kindness to anybody. It doesn’t have to be a major act of kindness, it could be as simple as having a chat with an elderly neighbour, holding a door open for someone or simply smiling at passers-by whilst you’re doing your Christmas shopping. Let’s spread the love and be kind to one another! I’m a big believer in what you put out, you get back!
Speaking of acts of kindness, we are all about our community and well being @ Samuel Chapman. We care! A big shout out to Helen (a regular client of ours) who is actively involved with raising homeless and displaced people awareness. When it’s so cold outside at this time year, please spare a thought for those out on the street regardless of their reason for being there. The World’s Big Sleep Out on 7th December @ Hove Lagoon. If you are brave enough to walk in the shoes of a homeless person that you would normally walk past to show solidarity and support, or would like to sponsor someone participating in this, please google 'The world's big sleep out'. Homeless Awareness is being run around the world and even celebrities such as Will Smith and Helen Mirren are taking part!
