What inspired you to become a hairdresser?

I always knew I would work within the creative industry in some capacity, but I also have always been really passionate about helping people and so I felt hairdressing was a perfect fit.
 

Favourite hair transformation? 

One of my favourite hair transformations would have to be taking a clients hair from box coloured black and going through a process, beginning with a deep red balayage and slowly over about a year and half we went from red to copper and then to a natural blonde/brown balayage. I really enjoyed this because the client fully trusted me and understood it was going to be a slow process but we could still have fun with it.

 

What do you like to do in your free time?  

I love to dance, I’ve danced since I can remember, I really enjoy music and going to live gigs. I love to spend quality time with my family, go for long walks and adventures.

 

Do you have any special tips or tricks for maintaining healthy hair between salon visits? 

My favourite product has to be pureology 21 color fanatic. If you want to use just one product than this is the one for you! It has 21 benefits, meaning your heat protection to colour fading care is all in one.
Please always use a heat protector it is so important! So much of the damage we see in salon is from heat tools used at home.

 

If you could give one piece of haircare advice to everyone, what would it be? 

Be brave and once you’ve rinsed your conditioner out do a quick cold water blast over the top to help prevent frizz and close down all the cuticles in your hair.
